Migrating away from Patreon

This isn't an issue, more like a feature request.

I noticed that Mercode has a Patreon link, and asks users to donate there.
I may slightly dislike Liberapay for only offering Stripe and PayPal options, however Patreon is no better, accepting only Paypal and credit cards (plus being a nonfree platform). I was wondering whether migrating to an open source solution would prove better in the grand scheme of things.

Perhaps GitHub Sponsors could also be utilized, not sure if Mercode is considered eligible however or if you'd want it.
