Add Quick Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Controls to the PowerToys Dock #49620

Description

Description of the new feature / enhancement

I would like the PowerToys Dock to support dedicated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi widgets, similar to the existing Clock and Battery widgets.

The Bluetooth widget should allow users to:

Toggle Bluetooth on or off.
View currently connected Bluetooth devices.
Display available devices in a simple drop-down menu for quick access.

The Wi-Fi widget should allow users to:

Toggle Wi-Fi on or off.
View the currently connected network.
Display nearby available Wi-Fi networks in a drop-down list, allowing users to switch networks without opening the Windows Quick Settings panel.

The interaction should be lightweight and designed for quick access directly from the Dock.

Scenario when this would be used?

Users frequently need to connect Bluetooth headphones, keyboards, mice, or other peripherals, as well as switch between Wi-Fi networks. At present, this requires navigating to the Windows Quick Settings panel from the taskbar.

For users who primarily rely on the PowerToys Dock, this interrupts the workflow and requires unnecessary mouse movement. Having Bluetooth and Wi-Fi controls available directly on the Dock would provide faster access to these commonly used system settings without leaving the Dock interface.

Supporting information

The goal is not to replace the Windows Settings application but to bring the most commonly used networking controls into the Dock, much like the existing Clock and Battery widgets.

A compact drop-down interface for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi would provide a familiar experience while reducing the need to interact with the Windows taskbar. This would make the Dock a more complete productivity hub by centralizing frequently used system controls in one place.
