I just reinstalled Windows. So it will be a little time before I get WSL1 installed for logs and screenshots If anyone in the community wishes to try it out:

I have a sample WSL1 compositor for Wayland which is displayed in Windows
https://github.com/tamusjroyce/wayland-webgpu-composer-wsl1
It supports WebGPU and Vulkan. Uses shared memory for potential speed improvements over WSLg. Written in Rust
Interested if the WSL team or community would like to support it. Sway and KDE Plasma work. But 3D desktops and tools need quite a bit more implemented before they will work successfully
