  • Pylance Version: 2021.5.2
  • OS and version: Windows 10 Home
  • Python Version: 3.9.1
  • Type of virtual environment used: python3 venv
  • Value of the python.languageServer setting: pylance

I am trying select command prompt as my default terminal for debugging

when I press F5 then it doesn't changes to command prompt

when I press ctrl + ~ 'It shows & was unexpected at this time'

Duplicate of #16175 . The underlying cause of #16175 is also responsible for this one.
