Crash when jumping between pages on new renderer #3863

Steps to reproduce

enable new renderer

1. open any chapter
2. use page navigator to jump pages before the current one is loaded
3. the page freezes
4. exit the reader then reopen it
5. crash after a few seconds

should not crash
