Automate publish uses initial commit (parent commit) rather than newest commit

So whenever I force push a commit, it triggers the GH Action. Once this action completes, it reverts back to the original commit which was the test line "My name is...".

Clearly, I'm aiming for the new changes to reflect and the automated action is just not cooperating. Let me know if anyone can help x
