We use PDF.JS (through a slightly customised viewer.html file) to view internal documents, particularly to view the free-text annotations which others have added in Adobe Reader.
The recent addition of annotation tools in pdf.js is really exciting for us. One thing which I'd really like to be able to do though (and haven't been able to work out yet) is how Adobe Reader seems to add the annotation's author name and the date it was added.
When hovering over the annotations made in Adobe Reader in PDF.js a popup appears which shows the name and date as a header above the content of the annotation. When hovering over annotations made using PDF.js the header is there, but is empty. Is there a reasonably straightforward way of intercepting the process which writes annotations to add this information?

I hope that makes sense
