hi,
i'm using mu 1.0.0.beta.12
when save is clicked should mu not make a backup copy of the file as it were when opened.
so when save is clicked this can become a backup file, auto save should not effect this backup.
one unix convention is to place a ~ as the last character

I think the reason it was removed was because the backup file was created in the same directory where the working file is saved, and in the case of the circuitplayground that mean in the USB drive, causing havoc.
The atomic saver could easily be updated to save the backup-file somewhere else (or we could extend it so that depending on the mode is saves the file in different locations), so we could bring it back if needed.
