Hi , while waiting for an answer i tried to solve the issue by my self, so after succesfully updated my system up to the last version, I want post the solution i found just in case could be usefull for someone else :
Then you can repeat the steps from 1 to 4 until dotfiles-2.9.6.zip ... after that release the things are a bit different because the team changed the way to make updates... this way after you launch after the reboot you can see in ML4W Welcome App the current updated release. Of cource , any comment are welcome if anything i wrote in incorrect or it needs some more words about. |

Hi to all Guys , I'm new here.
I need your help because i stumble upon an issue trying to update ml4w to a new version.
I have an arch installed on my notebook , precisely 6.12.6 and i have ml4w-hyprland 2.9.3 installed.
over the time i decided to non update ml4w-hyprland but only to update the system. Now i have decided to also install the update for ml4w-hyprland and clicked on ml4w welcome app "update now" ,then it display a prompt :
to ML4W Dotfiles 2.9.7.3
Do you want to start the update now?
When I click on yes ... it start update and after a while i get the message :
./update.sh: line 87: ./install.sh: File o directory doesn't exist.
so i looked in ~/dotfiles/update.sh and i see that at line 87 there is this statement :
./install.sh
... but i saw inside ~/Downloads/dotfiles ( for 2.9.7.3 downloaded files) and I found another file : setup-arch.sh
so i gave a sight on this script and see that most of the folder used to install has changed. so because i don't wanto to mess my system ... which is the best way to make the update ??
Even because i also see that there have been a lot changes in between. ( eww vs AGS ..etc.. )
Do I simply launch setup-arch.sh ( alias ml4w-hyperland-setup ) or what else to be sure that all my current folders and configuration don't go break-up
Thank
