Hi, thanks for your questions. 2.) It seams that in your configuration only those workspaces are shown with open windows in it. 3.) you have to check your .config/hypr/conf/keyboard.conf and maybe a a different keyboard variant. 4.) Ehich dotfiles version are you using? See the welcome app. |

Hello there,
first of all, thank you for creating these dotfiles, it is a great start for getting rid of my noobiness in the Arch linux fields. Yes, I admit, questions I have might be silly, but we have all been there, right? Anyway, here they are, thank you for any help or suggestion in advance.
Initial position is fresh install of the latest ML4W.
after every update of ML4W my Dunst configuration gets rewritten to defaults. I am modifying dunstrc file in the ./config/dunst directory but apparently not the correct approach for custom configs
in the waybar there are workspaces. Within SETTINGS APP I set "4" workspaces, yet in the Waybar I see 1,2,5,6,7,8 (thus 6 in total and cannot see the logic why am I missing 3 and 4)
I use Czech layout, so by default when I press "any number above qwerty row" i get our diacritic letters such as 3=š, 4=č, ... and for such I cannot really use switching workspaces keybinds. So far I did not find the way how to properly configure default.conf at .config/hypr/conf/keybindings/ ChatGPT suggested to get keycodes via some capture app like "xev" but no luck.
after each restart I am missing nwg-dock and need to disable and reenable it via SETTING APP.
Thank you for your time, I really appreciate it. These dotfiles made my X1 Carbon Gen 3rd worthy again :-D
Take care,
Petr
