If dock is on the left, ball just falls down

Well, I have Dock on the left side of the screen. When I clicked the ball, it bounced a bit and now I have one ball alone on the bottom of the screen.

So, it does not find its way back home.

But, what it should actually do on this case? Probably roll to the side and then bounce to dock like flipper ball.

killall Ball

of course solves the situation.

I actually had the ball get stuck in front of the dock, though fortunately I can click the icons through the ball. I just don't have the heart to type killall Ball. I've grown too attached to the little fellah.
