Hmm this is a good question. I have to investigate this in depth actually, to figure out which operations are used to create the ui, and how android interacts with files in RW-mode. My quick guess is that they are indeed read-only at the moment. |

I've discovered RoundSync today from a topic from Cryptomator community about using Mega via RoundSync (https://community.cryptomator.org/t/figured-out-how-to-access-mega-cloud-storage-on-android-via-roundsync-rclone/12921)
It seems wonderful, and I've checked same with dropbox - any editing operations seems to work fine. But this was achieved via SAF.
However, when I open storage right in RoundSync and then open any file (either by tap, or by "open as" from context menu), opened file seems to be read-only: i've tried few different storages and few different text editors in this example.
Is there any way to open files with write permission? So it will be possible to open RoundSync, open necessary storage, open any file from it, edit, and finally let RoundSync to update it in the related cloud storage?
