It would be nice to have filtering on keyboard typing in apps/processes tabs with filtering reset on 'Esc' for example

Hi,
I'm not quite sure I understand your suggestion. You can use Ctrl+F (or F3) to enable (and disable) search in the Applications/Processes views. Could you elaborate?

I mean you start typing to get filter applied on processes/apps tab without pressing f3

This is standard behavior for most system monitors, Gnome System Monitor like example
This is the main function to find a process
Every time I come across this...
