If I clicked on the button by accident, then I no longer have a chance to enter the password to get more information.

If the password has been canceled or there is simply no way to get the properties, then you need to keep the banner visible and not display the property fields.

Restarting solves the problem. But the only solution in the form of restarting the application only confirms that this is indeed a problem.
