Hi folks,

Unfortunately, this extension has been broken for a couple of years. However, luckily @caenrigen has created the VS Code Jupytext Sync extension that should probably meet your needs as well. Just leaving this here for anyone who stumbles on this repository.

Hi @basnijholt, thank you for spreading the word 😄.

I have done it myself as well before 😂 #24 which was closed since ofc there is not much actions to be done in this repo (except perhaps adding a note in the README pointing to alternatives).

There is also a pending discussion for Jupytext itself to "officially" endorse a VS Code extension.

I hope @DonJayamanne will leave it open. Users will likely find this open issue rather than a closed one 😅
