Thanks for the log — the cause is clear.

Every download is cut off after exactly 15.0 seconds. That is not a server fault or
corrupted data: it is Weasis' own UrlReadTimeout (default 15 000 ms).

Since 4.7.0 Weasis uses a new HTTP client, and UrlReadTimeout no longer behaves quite
as it did before. It used to mean "give up if no data arrives for 15 s"; with the new
client it became a deadline on the whole transfer. Your images are uncompressed DX of
about 24 MB and the link was delivering roughly 1.6 MB/s across the two parallel
downloads, so one image needs about 30 seconds and never finishes in time. It happens on
the series retrieve and again on the per-image retry, which is why the study opens empty
(nbImages:0, errors:2).

1. Raise the timeout on your current version

No new build needed. Add this to the [JavaOptions] section of Weasis.cfg in your
installation directory, then restart Weasis:

-DUrlReadTimeout=180000

That allows 3 minutes per transfer instead of 15 seconds. You can keep this setting in
place — it stays valid and harmless once the fix ships, so there is no need to remove it
later. Please let me know whether the study opens, and roughly how long it takes.

2. Try a development build with the fix

The timeout goes back to its original meaning and improves on it: it now triggers only
when data actually stops arriving, so a large image on a slow link takes as long as it
needs, while a dead connection is still detected quickly.

Download a development build if you would like to test it. Please note it is for
testing only, not for production — development builds have not been
through release validation. For routine work, stay on your current version with the
setting above until the next official release.

Why both are worth checking

The two tests confirm different halves of the diagnosis, so running both is the most
useful thing you can do:

• If the raised timeout makes the study open, it confirms the 15-second limit was the
  only thing stopping the download.
• If the development build works at the default timeout, it confirms the new
  behaviour handles your slow link correctly and that nothing else is involved.

The time each one takes to open is also useful: around 30–40 seconds fits a slow link,
whereas a long pause before any progress appears would point to the server being slow to
start sending, which would be worth looking at separately on the dcm4chee side.
