deploy on heroku

Adding temporary deployment of the API on Heroku so that we can test it out and meanwhile the frontend branch will be deployed to surge.
I'll add both and also work on the automatic deployment of the same so that new changes are built and deployed after every new commit.

@gabru-md Should I add a basic form of authentication before deploying this to heroku? We don't want someone to fill up the database with bogus requests, right?
