easy step by step guide for ubuntu for the newbies

Would REALLY REALLY REALLY like to see this as well. I'd love to use this program but the commands/steps/screenshots all given assume a fair bit of knowledge of Docker (which I lack) and Linux (which I sort of have).

I've been using Debian as my host OS for the arrs stack and Plex/Emby/Jellyfin/NZBGet/SAB for several years so I'm fairly comfortable with Linux and only recently have I started messing around with Docker and consider myself a super newbie with it.

I was wondering if the author could please write an ultra detailed, step-by-step guide on setting this up. If the author of this app is reading this comment, I'm willing to meet up on Discord and go through it step by step. I'll take screenshots and type everything up, you just tell me what to do/guide me. We can probably use a lot of the existing screenshots/steps but for us super newbies, some blanks definitely need filled in. :)

@XenoUniv3rse I messaged the author of the app recently and we're going to get together in the coming weeks to do exactly this but if you're willing to meet me on Discord, maybe we can maybe knock it out sooner. :)

I would like to get it working in a rootless Docker setup in Debian. If you think you can walk me through that via baby steps, I have a virtual Debian machine ready to go.

A friend of mine is using this app in Unraid but he doesn't know how to translate that setup to a bare metal Linux install.

As for running it on Unraid vs bare metal, its exactly the same. The only difference is your need to figure out how to mount the rclone directory on startup.

Maybe the rclone thing is what stumped him then (and me)? I've been using Debian for years and knew enough about Linux to get Debian installed, set up an mdadm array and the arrs stack.... Samba sharing for the Windows machines and have a decent understanding of fstab, permissions and systemd services and only recently got into Flatpak's.

Docker and rclone is uncharted territory for me. The good news is, once this guide is typed up ..... if -I- can comprehend it, ANYONE should be able to because I plan on taking lots of screenshots and typing up detailed notes. :)
