Lost completed-symlinks after system reboot

I just rebooted my system since it had been running for a long time. Before that, everything was working fine and I could see all my media. However, after the reboot, the completed-symlinks folder is empty. I checked my configurations and mounts, but everything seems normal.

What could have caused the issue? Is there a way to restore the symlinks? What can I do to prevent this from happening again?

About Directory

This directory contains symlinks for items that have finished processing the nzbdav queue and are still present in the nzbdav history table.

All items under this directory have the *.rclonelink extension, since true symlinks cannot exist within a webdav. Instead, the *.rclonelink files are simple text files whose contents contain the target path of where the symlink should point to.

If using Rclone to mount the webdav onto your filesystem, then Rclone will take care of translating these *.rclonelink files to actual symlinks. You'll need to use the --links argument for Rclone to perform this translation.

NOTE: Be sure to use an updated version of rclone that supports the --links argument.

• Version v1.60.1-DEV has been known not to support it.

Why are symlinks removed from the /completed-symlinks directory when the corresponding item has been removed from the nzbdav History table?

Nzbdav was designed to work with tools like Radarr and Sonarr.

After an item finishes processing from the nzbdav queue, it lets Radarr/Sonarr know that the "download" has completed within the /completed-symlinks directory. Radarr/Sonarr then copy the symlinks from this directory and move them to wherever you've configured your organized media library. Radarr/Sonarr then automatically remove the item from the nzbdav History table to clean things up.

At this point, the symlinks have already been copied by Radarr/Sonarr from the /completed-symlinks dir and so are no longer needed.

To answer your question, I don't think reboot had anything to do with it. I think deleting from the History table probably removed the symlinks.

But if those items have already been imported by Radarr/Sonarr, then you're probably good anway :)

Sorry to hijack this.. but is sonarr and radarr supposed to write into your HDs? I seem to have a difficult time configuring them as they either write on my HD, or they don't see anything in the symlinks, therefore the arr's say files are missing.
