Look into real-debrid if youre not familiar with it already.

Then, you may be interested in one of these two projects:

• https://github.com/sirrobot01/decypharr - infinite plex library with torrents, through real debrid.
• https://github.com/rivenmedia/riven - Also torrents through real-debrid, but goes one step further and also replaces sonarr/radarr altogether.

Problem is I have no interest in Debrid. I was made aware of those projects but I would like to have a similar solution for torrents, hence needing rules in *arr for retention, etc.

Your work made me think it would be possible but, if you want/are interested, I can explain more thoroughly.
