Urtext /ˈʊrtekst/ is a syntax and parser for writing and knowledge management. It was originally developed in Sublime Text using its embedded Python interpreter.

This project implements it for iOS using a customized editor, Sublemon, which provides syntax highlighting using Pythonista's Objective-C bindings and a Sublime-like multi-purpose fuzzy-search dropdown.

Interested in testing, feedback and suggestions for any or all of these.

It is probably easier to learn about Urtext using the Sublime Text implementation, then try using an existing project in the Pythonista implementation. There is a single-step install script, or you can install the Pythonista dependencies manually.
