I've encountered a recurring problem with my system set up with a dual boot configuration of OpenFyde and Ubuntu on an external SSD. After selecting either operating system from the GRUB menu, the system consistently restarts, preventing successful booting into either OS.
Steps to Reproduce:
Power on the system with the external SSD connected.
At the GRUB menu, select either OpenFyde or Ubuntu.
Observe that the system restarts shortly after.
Expected Behavior:
The selected operating system should boot up normally without unexpected restarts.
Actual Behavior:
The system restarts immediately after selecting an OS from the GRUB menu.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
Examined /var/log files within the Ubuntu system for potential clues.
Identified several issues in the logs, including:
USB Device Descriptor Read Errors (Error -71)
Silead Touchscreen Controller Errors (Chip ID read errors and probe failures)
Segmentation Fault in Nautilus
Repeated RAS Correctable Errors Messages
Relevant System Information:
Hyundai Koral pro 10m4
OpenFyde 17.1
Kingstone XS2000 - 1TB

I have attached the relevant log files for further examination. [log.zip]
I would appreciate any insights or suggestions to help resolve these boot issues. Thank you for your time and assistance.
