Canned chat starter

In VSCode, I use different discussion starters, one different for each profile to have the best specific answers. It would be create to create canned discussion so that in one click we start with the right discussion starter instead of copy/pasting discussions

why not just keep them in files and @ them? I have a ./prompts/ folder with markdown files I use for this purpose

On one project/repo it does work, but it doesn't across repo. Or I missed an easy solution there?

personally I would do the same as with AGENTS.md, having a (user) global ~/prompts directory for cross-project files to reference
