I'd like to work on this issue as part of preparing for a potential GSoC application with Open Climate Fix. I understand that metnet features have been removed from the codebase, and this task involves removing the associated tests to keep the codebase clean and consistent. So can anyone assign me this issue.

I plan to:

1. Locate the metnet tests in the repository
2. Remove them completely
3. Ensure all remaining tests still pass
4. Submit a PR with these changes

Is there any additional context or specific guidance I should be aware of before starting this work?
