Detailed Description

We want to do some ML modelling, for the UK Solar generation. Later on we can expand to other countries.

Context

• once data is collected and ready to use Get UK Target data #2 Add to readme how to use gfs data #34 Identify open source gridded NWP #3 we can start work on this.
• Once more NWP data is collected, then we can do more

Possible Implementation

• there are lots of ML models and there are a variety of different ways to do it. We encourage you to us elots of differnet methods.
• Internal at OCF, we have use PVnet, this inovles make samples script to make samples #8 pipeline to make samples #1 and then training train model + evaluate model #7

Hi, @siddharth7113 , yes i am. Mostly done with the prototype, currently working on gathering open data for training.

You could use the data present in S3 bucket for training,I think there has been some work done in ocf-data-sampler which would make it easier to convert in pytorch format. @peterdudfield would be able to suggest better for the data.

I would love to make some contributions to this issue (and on the project as a whole). This issue seems to be open to multiple contributors, right, or is it almost done?

If it's still open, could you give me a pointer how to get started? Reading through some existing issues, I've got a feeling that data pipeline still needs to be done? Or is data already available somewhere?
