Unsupported platform in Chrome Extension

I am developing a chrome extension which will send requests to Appwrite using client SDK or REST API (the usual fetch request)

Appwrite doesnt accept any kind of client side requests from origins like "chrome-extension://"

👟 Reproduction steps

1. Create a appwrite function or anything which uses client SDK / REST API
   • git clone https://github.com/ashuvssut/cookied
   • yarn install
   • yarn ext (also see registerUser function in useAuth.ts file withing apps/chrome-extension folder)
   • Load unpacked dist/ folder in chrome browser
2. request that Appwrite API. say you created that appwrite function. Try the create execution request
   • click Sign up to attempt to execute Appwrite Function (registerUser appwrite function)
3. It will return the following error:-
   The following is the AppwriteException: Unsupported platform error when I called my Appwrite function

IMPORTANT: I was able to call createOAuth2Session (Accounts API) for Auth that means the extension can send fetch requests no problem and the Web SDK works fine. But, Appwrite needs to whitelist "chrome-extension://" origin to make these requests happen.

Having a setting to whitelist the chrome-extension://<extension-id> origin in the Appwrite project settings would be nice

I cant even execute appwrite functions to make requests on behalf of my client (chrome extension). Atleast, appwrite functions should have this "whitelist origin" feature.
This error AppwriteException: Unsupported platform needs this feature

Solution:-
from chrome-extension://<extension-id>
add <extension-id> as hostname in web platform
