Cube.dev is a popular BI query tool which takes a data warehouse or transactional database as a source and models queryable dimensions and measures/metrics. All of these are defined in json/yml format. The json/yaml can fall out of sync with changes in the underlying transactional database creating the need for constant monitoring and testing.
