Main menu collapse/expand button not working in Ultima template

Description

The collapse/expand button for a main (top-level) menu item in the Ultima PrimeFaces template does not behave correctly.

This behavior can be reproduced directly in the Ultima Showcase, so it does not seem to be caused by custom project code.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Ultima Showcase.
2. Go to any page where the main sidebar menu is visible.
3. Ensure the menu is in a collapsed or expanded state.
4. Click on the collapse/expand button (arrow icon) of a main menu item.

Actual behavior

• On the first click, the arrow icon animates, but the menu does not collapse.
• On the second click, the menu starts to collapse, but immediately expands again, resulting in no effective state change.

Expected behavior

• Animate the arrow icon.
• Properly collapse or expand the submenu.
• Keep the menu in the selected state without reverting.

Hello.

Additionally, the titles of each menu option are rendered twice: once without the chevron icon and once with the chevron icon, the latter controlling the action of expanding or collapsing the submenu.

this menuitem to expand should not be visible and therefore expand/collapse didnt work correctly

Hi.

I fixed this in my project by making changes to layout.menu.js, UltimaMenuRenderer.java, layout-dark.css, and layout-light.css.

If necessary, I can specify what these changes were.

Its actually enough to switch the root menu a to Display: None from Display: flex

Yes, the changes in the two CSS files are to remove a display: none;, which prevents the menu from being visible; the change in layout.menu.js is to make it work correctly when the menu collapses; and the change in UltimaMenuRenderer.java is to prevent it from duplicating the titles of the root options.

At least, that's how I fixed it.
