GitHub Push Theme Trouble

I am trying to use the PrimeUI Theme Generator plugin to push theme changes to my GitHub repo. When I hit "Push Theme to GitHub" I'm getting the following message:

Is there a way to force push changes when I know there are updates to my theme?

Hi, we’ll improve the plugin UX. Issues like this can happen in its current state, and they are not always easy for us to reproduce or diagnose.

Before pushing, are you clicking Generate Theme in the section above? If not, the latest changes may not be included in the push to GitHub.

This still does not push my latest changes. This really is a blocker for my team as we're having to manually build the theme files with the online Designer which is not ideal for our work pipelines.
