How can we move an accessibility PR for DatePicker forward?

Hi PrimeVue team (@tugcekucukoglu and @mertsincan) and community,

Could someone advise how we can get feedback on this DatePicker accessibility PR?

primefaces/primevue#8513. It was opened on March 27, 2026, and currently has no assigned reviewers.

We use PrimeVue as part of an internal design system, and DatePicker accessibility is important for us. We would much prefer to fix this upstream rather than build and maintain a custom DatePicker or local workaround.

We believe all PrimeVue users can benefit from this fix. We would really appreciate guidance on the next steps:

• Is there a way to get PR reviewed?
• Any specific maintainer, accessibility expert from PrimeTek you can advise to contact?
• Any feedback would help us align the PR with PrimeVue’s expectations and make it easier to review.
