Adding OPNsense makes sense to me. Not sure about removing pfSense, thoughts? pfSense is pretty well established and quite a bit larger AFAIK, makes it easy for people to find guides, etc.

So, this is what the last paragraph of the OPNsense Wikipedia article was referring to:

In November 2017, a World Intellectual Property Organization panel found Netgate, the copyright holder of pfSense, used the domain opnsense.com in bad faith to discredit OPNsense, and obligated Netgate to transfer domain ownership to Deciso.

I think considering how they handled adding Wireguard into the kernel points to systemic issues with how the project is ran, it would be sensible to recommend something else. I've had great experiences with OPNSense myself.

We've been working on some of the other guides getting that done. We should work on this soon, a PR would be welcome though.

actually nevermind, i couldn't deploy the site locally to test the changes before submitting. this is out of date, there are plugins missing from requirements and there's no information about what the privacy plugin even is or where it can be found.

I do plan to be migrating to opnsense on my router, i actually just bought one of their appliances, so that should be a fun project.
