Using GitHub actions to run the tutorial was a super cool way to have the environment actively change. When going through the creation of the first pull request, I was a little trigger happy and immediately merged the PR before the GitHub Action could run1. I think the readme could benefit from a slight rewording to make sure that students won't immediately click the green button. Footnotes

I liked the course, although I would like to have a more in-the weeds example. Say you have a branch on your machine locally that you're working on with a friend, who's force pushed their changes and muddled up the history. Although I guess this could be an off-platform/GitHub independent set of steps, potentially. Maybe more necessary in a course on git and not GitHub? |
