hey <@1014640568044900402> thanks for reporting! I just tested uploading a 10-page pdf and it worked on my end Can you try:
btw what file size/type are you uploading? |
Thanks! I'll try to clear cache and use a different browsr (I'm on Chrome). My test pdf file is 1MB and 7 pages |
so sounds fine that should work could you please try again either in incognito or private browser. |
the issue persists on Microsoft Edge and Chrome incognito |
IDK if this is helpful but i get the above error in addition to a message: Knowledge graph ready! Try asking a question above, or expand the graph visualization below to explore your data. but the knowledge graph is empty |
could you also check your browser console and see if any errors appear when you try to ingest the pdf? thanks |

same 1MB file btw |
can you try uploading files lower than 1MB or ~500kb ? |
ok that worked.. pdf 176kb |
Thanks for checking that. looks like the request was failing with a On my side I had tested with a smaller pdf ~386kb which is why it went through. I'll flag this to the team so they can take a look at the upload limit or improve the error message in the dashboard. thanks!! |
is it common for it to be that low? would that be just on the dashboard or from the cli as well? my dataset has many large pdfs. What is the normal limit? |
it might just be a limitation on the dashboard upload endpoint but I don't want to guess about the cli behavior. I’ll flag this so we can get the exact limits clarified. Thanks for pointing it out. we'll update here |
thanks |
hey guys touching base here. i still can use the dashboard for anything but very small files |
Hey <@1014640568044900402> it's an NGINX setting limiting the upload size it will be resolved tomorrow |
thanks! |
