Trace Context Propagation & Redis/ValKey Protocol?

Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions on how the Redis/ValKey protocol(s) might be evolved to support TraceContext (traceparent, tracestate) and Baggage (baggage) or how they might currently support sending such information?
