I believe I read a note somewhere that you could tap and hold links to be able to open them, but it does not work.

No matter what I do, links inside articles are not clickable on the Kindle Experimental Browser.

Related to this, the " Tap Zones Mode" option in the context menu is greyed out, and cannot be turned off.

Kindle Browser does not support Multi-Tab, so it can not open links inside aritcles.

Couldn't it just open in the same tab?

An alternative would be do enable the option to disable "Tap Zones" on Kindle Browser and then allow clicking on the actual links for the same tab.

I imagine this would affect the pagination/scroll etc, but could be a workaround.

There are two options:

  1. Enable option 'Tap Zones', but it will reload app and lose read state when click Back button.
  2. Use an iframe to load the new url.

Next i will try the iframe option.

Was trying out Reabble today on a Kindle Paperwhite and the "Tap Zones Mode" option wasn't de-selectable. Is it possible to fix this bug so that I can deselect the option while in e-ink mode?
