PaperWM does not allow drawing tablet pen to focus unless mouse is moved to the drawing tablet display

Describe the bug
So, I recently wanted to try out GNOME and PaperWM since it has better compatibility with Xwayland apps like Krita. While testing out in my current install in CachyOS, I found that whenever my mouse is on/focused in my main display, Asus ProArt, and I use my drawing tablet pen on my XP-Pen display, my pen does not seem to focus on any windows. Only when I move my mouse cursor to my drawing tablet's display is when my pen is able to move its cursor.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior (not sure if you have a drawing tablet to test this with):

1. Have GNOME+PaperWM running on a system with two displays, a monitor and a drawing tablet monitor. Load Krita and move its window to the drawing tablet display.
2. Leave mouse cursor on the monitor and try to use the drawing tablet's pen on the drawing tablet monitor.
3. Notice there is no activity (strokes, brush icon or indicator, etc) and no window is focused when using the drawing tablet pen.
4. Move the mouse cursor to the drawing tablet display, then use the drawing tablet pen. Notice that the pen moves the cursor.

Expected behavior
What should happen is that I should leave the mouse cursor on my main display and use my drawing tablet pen on my drawing table display, seamlessly.

Additional context
Disabling PaperWM allows the drawing tablet to move its cursor without the mouse cursor.
Monitor specs:
Main Monitor - Asus ProArt PA248Q, Connected as DP-1
Drawing Tablet - XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 (Gen 2), Connected as HDMI-1
