Welcome to Oasis, your secure place to store and manage your passwords! This guide will help you get started.

1. Creating Your Oasis Account

If you're new to Oasis, you'll need to create an account.

  1. Navigate to the Website: Open your web browser and go to https://passmanager.app
  2. Find the Sign-Up Button: Look for a button that says "Log In," "Create Account," or similar. Click on it.
  3. Enter Your Details:
    • Email Address: Enter a valid email address. This will be used for any notifications you might want to get.
    • Master Password: This is the MOST important password.
      • Choose a Strong Master Password: Make it long, complex (mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols), and unique (not used for any other account).
      • MEMORIZE IT: Oasis cannot recover your Master Password if you forget it. This is for your security.
      • Confirm Master Password: Re-enter your chosen Master Password.
  4. Agree to Terms: Before registering, you should read through and agree to the Terms of Service.
  5. Complete Sign-Up: Click the "Register" button to finish.
  6. Verify Your Email: You might receive an email to verify your email address. Follow the instructions in the email.

2. Logging In to Oasis

Once you have an account, here's how to log in:

    • Master Password: Enter your Master Password.
  4. Click Log In: Click the "Log In" button.

3. Adding a New Password Entry

Store your website and app passwords securely in Oasis.

  1. Access Your Vault: Once logged in, you'll be in your password vault.
  2. Create new entry: Look for a button like "Add New". Click it.
  3. Fill in the Details:
    • Name/Title: A descriptive name for the entry (e.g., "Gmail," "Facebook," "Online Banking").
    • Website URL (Optional but recommended): The website address for this login (e.g., https://mail.google.com).
    • Username/Email: Your username or email for that specific account.
    • Password: The password for that specific account.
      • You can type it in or use Oasis's built-in password generator to create a strong, random password. Look for a button like "Generate Password."
    • Notes (Optional): Any additional notes, like security questions or account numbers.
  4. Save the Entry: Click the "Create" button.

4. Viewing and Editing an Existing Password Entry

Need to see or update a saved password?

  1. Find the Entry: In your vault, locate the entry you want to view or edit. You have a search bar to help.
  2. Click on the Entry: Click on its name or an "Edit" icon associated with it.
  3. View Password: The password field might be hidden by default (e.g., showing ••••••••). Look for an "eye" icon to reveal it, or press the "copy" icon to copy the password.
  4. Edit Details: Change any information (username, password, URL, notes, etc.) as needed.
  5. Save Changes: If you made any changes, make sure to click the "Save" button.

5. Important Security Reminders

  • Master Password is Key: Your Master Password is the only key to your vault. Never share it and don't forget it. Password Manager Oasis support cannot retrieve or reset it for you.
  • Use Strong, Unique Passwords: Use the password generator for your individual accounts whenever possible.
  • Beware of Phishing: Only enter your Master Password on the official Password Manager Oasis website. Double-check the website URL.

We hope this guide helps you get the most out of Oasis Password Manager!
