What is the license of these data?

Open Data, as described in their page http://tps.kpu.go.id/about.php

That page does not really describe the license. Can I make data derivation? Can I use it for commercial purposes? Can I not share it again with anyone (make it proprietary)?

Thanks

After re-read the open data term, I'm aware of your concern. I'll try to make this license issue more clear by contacting KPU.

Thanks

@fajran is there a specific data set that you're interested in, or do you want to know for all the data?

All TPS data, from Propinsi, Kabuten, Kecamatan, Kelurahan, and each TPS.
With this data, I hope we can map it and by using someone location, we can show TPS location near him.

@tmaybe I am currently more interested in the map data inside dapil directory.

However, my intention when opening this issue is to get clarification about license of all data contained in this repository. These data are indeed made public but it does not mean that other people can make use of it in the "open data" way.

Here's what Wikipedia says about Open Data

Open data is the idea that certain data should be freely available to everyone to use and republish as they wish, without restrictions from copyright, patents or other mechanisms of control.

and this is what GitHub says about having no license declaration.

You're under no obligation to choose a license. It's your right not to include one with your code or project, but please be aware of the implications. Generally speaking, the absence of a license means that the default copyright laws apply. This means that you retain all rights to your source code and that nobody else may reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from your work. This might not be what you intend.

No. Sorry, I still don't have any reply from them.

Hi,

Just want to state my interest in the data too. Is there any update about the license?
