qperf measures RDMA and IP performance (throughput and latency). It works over TCP/IP as well as the different RDMA transports. Its architecture is client/server, similar to how iperf works.
Version 0.4.11 looks to be available out of the box in Alma, Debian and Ubuntu.
The first usage would be to measure throughput, as the RDMA protocol can achieve higher throughput than standard TCP/IP with identical hardware. But using it as a latency tool might be useful too.
