Beautify option greyed out disabled for Nunchucks

I have a nunchucks .njk file with the nunchucks syntax coloration extension working but beautify is disabled as an option in the menu it's greyed out/disabled. Trying to find our why and how to fix it? Nunchucks is close to HTML but with template {{}} and {% %} directives inside it.

Try selecting HTML language dropdown from the status bar . https://docs.phcode.dev/docs/editing-text#file-type-associations

That didn't enable it,is it possible to use it with the .njk file type extension?

Hey @drkanukie, our Beautify feature doesn't currently support the .njk file type out-of-the-box. Since Nunchucks (.njk) has its own templating syntax, it's not recognized as standard HTML even with the language override, which is why the option stays disabled.

I'll pass along your feedback as a feature request to consider native support for .njk files in the future.

Thanks for the reply - I checked on prettier the module you use for beautify and they have added support for njk. https://github.com/prettier/prettier-vscode#prettierdocumentselectors I really prefer Phoenix ide over Vscode because I find it a lot less cluttered so I really hope you can support templating languages that are used by popular static site generators. I will have to use Vscode to format my markup one time which isn't a terrible workaround.

We take user requests with priority. We'll add support for .njk and similar templating languages in either the upcoming release or the one following it. ⚡
