I'm having the same issue. It seems like there is a birthday event that needs to be adjusted, but I'm not sure how to figure out which one(s) is(are) problematic.

Google recently started including different event types when retrieving them, but as you're reporting, not all of them work with OGCS. Later versions of OGCS explicitly specify which event types to retrieve - ie excluding eg birthday types.

Note @mjlipton in #2024 said:

So, in order to make this error go away, I unclicked the "Birthday" calendar type in Google to make all the birthdays go away.

Might be worth a shot...

@phw198 Paul, thank you for your feedback. Are you saying the OGCS Upgrade would resolve this issue?

Yup, I believe so.

@vxluevano @phw198 As a workaround, in case you dont want to upgrade to the latest OGCS, I took the following steps.

  1. log into gmail calendar and access the birthdays calendar.
  2. Manually enter each event in the gmail calendar into the Outlook Calendar
  3. In the Gmail calendar check "Brithdays" then settings and sharing

image

  1. uncheck the box labeled "Sync from [email protected]
  2. Perform a sync in OGCS and confirm no popup error message appears

Thank you Paul. I love your product and its helped me get organized since I used it in 2021 when my daughter was born!

Thanks for the update @davidazer82 and glad you found a workaround! Always nice to hear how useful people find the software.

In case it helps anyone else that can't upgrade, step 2 could be achieved automatically by setting OGCS to sync one way from Google to Outlook, complete the remaining steps and then back to two way sync.
