Is this repository completely unmaintained?

I'm currently interested in programmatically controlling VirtualBox for VM operation automation, and I found this package because I wanted to use the Go language for such developments. The code looks generally good, well-organized, and easy-to-use... but it looks like this repository has the most recent commit history about 4 years ago. I wonder if it's still a good option to use this package for my development.

Well, my project related to controlling VirtualBox programmatically had transferred to my working colleague, and he did control VMs via VirtualBox CLI commands which are described in the VirtualBox documentation. I guess it's kinda similar to creating another kind of this package from the scratch with his need.
