codespell 2.4.0+ wrongly treats 'thet' as spelling error #245

With latest codespell, many of our packages will give an error like this:

CHANGES.rst:631: thet ==> they, that, theft

This typo was registered at the end of December 2024, and is in codespell 2.4.0

For us this is of course not a spelling error, because @thet is a known contributor.

Best is probably to add thet on this line.

I do not want to change anything though until the big PR #241 is merged though.

This is another reason to prefer @thet instead of [thet] in release notes.

I tried replacing [thet] with @thet in CHANGES.rst, but that did not help.

@mauritsvanrees thanks for bringing that up. I'm a bit flattered by codespell. But sorry that my username makes troubles.

If there is anything to do, like applying meta to packages or changing my contribute entry to @thet, let me know and I'll be happy to do it.

I plan to work on next week's sprint on plone.meta, CI in general and, hopefully get a few things done 🍀
