[BUG] Left panel doesn't hide if needed when showing details panel from a folder in the main view

• Open details view from main view folder

• Click close button once makes left panel hidden (which should have happened automatically when the details panel was displayed)

• Click close button twice makes details panel hide (which should have happened on the first click of the button)

The last part is related to #834, pressing close button twice was addressed in #848

I'm not sure if the left panel should automatically close when details view is opened. After the close button PR, details view opening/closing does not affect left panel, which seems to be how it should work.
