Authentication dialog stuck after a failed authentication attempt using pam-u2f

I have pam-u2f set up so that I must enter my YubiKey password and verify presence to pass authentication. In a setup like this, the polkit authentication dialog will freeze after an incorrect password is entered. With a correct password, it will correctly wait for presence to be verified and work as expected.
