Are names really following the Julia styleguide?

Assuming this is about the first letter of the API functions not being capital, I think @erikscheurer and I had a discussion about this and decided to not do this to be consistent with the upstream API. But perhaps I remember it incorrectly.

Or is this about the lack of underscores?

I just stumbled upon it and got the impression that functions are treated as modules (which are CamelCase), even though there is an explicit rule for functions to be snake_case.

We could remove the claim, or better align to the style guide (at some point, definitely not a priority).

We could also have function names in lower case, without underscores. But perhaps that will affect readability. For now we can remove the claim.
