Use Case

The last version 16.2.0 was released half a year ago. We now have systems failing because the module is using the mysql commands instead of the mariadb commands.

Describe the Solution You Would Like

The current master has an implementation to detect mariadb and use mariadb-commands. Please release a new version based on the current code.

Describe Alternatives You've Considered

Currently we can only disable the notifications of the hosts using this module.

+1 from me, there are issues with latest LTS of mariadb in current release

+1, SLES 15 SP7 introduced MariaDB 11.x with this issue.
