Some files have CR-LF line endings (like pages in _include) while many other files use LF only. I think we should investigate

I guess git preserves editor choices unless specified. We could solve by means of a .gitattribute file.

That's the problem: two people working on linux and on windows may overwrite each other's commits every time and that would cause a mess.
