Hello,
I think the project might benefit from some more helping hands: there are some outstanding bugs that I'd love to see fixed (some crashes when fuzzy testing, for example, or some segfaults).

So if bottleneck is an important project for you, and want to actively contribute, please comment here below :)

I for one use this lib, and have some experience writing/debugging C.

If you are talking about #409 I can take a look.

Would love to get involved in bottleneck, seems like a good start :)

@rdbisme I'd be happy to help out. I arrived here today because I have an interest in getting free-threading support (in progress in gh-470) merged, but I already both reviewed some PRs and opened some maintenance PRs - bottleneck is a dependency of a number of projects I rely on, and it's also used directly in some production pipelines relevant to my day job. As a NumPy/SciPy maintainer I'm familiar with all the machinery in this project, so while I don't have a ton of time to spare I should be able to help.
