Need help on understanding the solution process, especially on core/hooks.py

The advanced python features used in Pyroll make the code not quite beginner friendly. Can anyone make a flowchart of the solution process? And an explanation of how Hook plugs into the above procedure. Thank you!

Hi,
So the hook system is hardly understandable in a day or two but let's see if I can help you.
The basics of the system are described here in the docs.
Basically the solution procedure is a fixed point iteration over all so called root_hooks this list can be found in pyroll-core module and is extended by e.g. plugins or inside your implementation. We have a tolerance value witch is defined in the CONFIG were one can control the maximum number of iterations as well as the tolerance.
